Hunger Zoo

May 2004, Production Workshop, Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island

Hunger Zoo

"Hunger Zoo" was an evening of two plays I wrote in my last year at Brown (Spring 2004) as part of my honors thesis. One was "Slower" about an existentially challenged clown (Jarslavaski) who tries to commit suicide after his chair looses its voice. Jarslavski's plan is foiled when he is arrested in time, the instant before his death occurs. The other play was "Asphalt", inspired by Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra, (specifically "On the Three Metamorphoses").  The plays were performed at the Upstairs Space at Production Workshop (PW). My apologies for the poor quality of the pictures.
